The Conway Hills Wildlife Sanctuary is a 105 acres (0.4 km² ) large protected area in Conway in the state of Massachusetts of the United States . It is administered by the Massachusetts Audubon Society .
Protected area
The area that was once used as pasture for cattle and for growing hay and tobacco is now largely made up of forest, which provides a habitat for coyotes , bears , elk and lynx . A 0.75 mi (1.2 km ) loop trail leads through a Weymouth pine and hemlock forest and past a large sugar maple tree.
