Massachusetts Audubon Society's list of protected areas
The Massachusetts Audubon Society, which was founded at the end of the 19th century and is based in Lincoln in the state of Massachusetts in the United States, maintains a total of 55 protected areas , which they consistently refer to as wildlife sanctuaries .
