The Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary (officially Broadmoore Audubon Reservation ) is a 624  acres (2.5  km² ) large reserve in Natick in the state of Massachusetts of the United States . It is administered by the Massachusetts Audubon Society .

Protected area

The Indian Brook and Charles Rivers flow through the reserve . Wooded areas, fields, marshland and bodies of water offer dragonflies, turtles, otters and more than 150 different bird species a habitat that can be explored on a total of 9  mi (14.5  km ) of hiking trails. 0.25 mi (0.4 km) of which are barrier-free . Beaver dams and nesting wood ducks can be seen along the river, which is interrupted in some places by waterfalls . A horse stable from 1911 serves as a visitor center .
