The Wachusett Meadow Wildlife Sanctuary is a 1,011  acres (4.1  square kilometers ) comprehensive reserve at Princeton in the state of Massachusetts of the United States . It is administered by the Massachusetts Audubon Society .

Protected area

The property of a former farm today offers a habitat for a variety of animals and plants with forests, wetlands and meadows. Some historic buildings are still in use today, including as part of education and training programs. There are 12  mi (19.3  km ) of hiking trails available to visitors.
