The Pierpont Meadow Wildlife Sanctuary is a 211  acres (85.4  ha ) comprehensive reserve at Dudley in the state of Massachusetts of the United States . It is administered by the Massachusetts Audubon Society .

Protected area

The site, which was once completely cleared for agricultural purposes, is now largely renatured . The reserve is a valuable retreat for bird species that have become rare, such as the red chalk bunting or the red-backed mockingbird . 0.75  mi (1.2  km ) of hiking trails are available to visitors.
