The Eastern Point Wildlife Sanctuary is a 54  acres (21.9  hectares ) comprehensive reserve at Gloucester in the state of Massachusetts of the United States . It is administered by the Massachusetts Audubon Society .

Protected area

Despite its small size, the sanctuary, located on a peninsula near Eastern Point Light , offers excellent views and a diverse flora and fauna. In particular, butterflies such as monarch butterflies and sea birds use the reserve as a stopover at certain times of the year. A 0.5  mi (0.8  km ) circular trail is available for visitors.
