The series was produced by Al Brodax for King Features . While 20 shows with 3 episodes each were shown in the USA (in each show two stories by Cool McCool and one about his father Harry McCool), Tele 5 broadcast each episode individually. content
Cool McCool works for Secret Inc. as a secret agent . But unlike his father, who as a police officer always solved his cases with a certain cleverness and precision, he is rather clumsy and stupid. His number one boss is usually the victim of this awkwardness.
His opponents are Jack-in-the-Box, Rattler, Hurricane Harry, Owl, Dr. Madcap and Greta Ghoul. They keep trying to terrify the city and get Cool McCool out of the way. But the awkwardness and absent-mindedness of Cool McCool are not only his weaknesses, they also save his life again and again.
synchronization
Most of the characters were voiced by Chuck McCann , he took on the roles of number one, Jack-in-the-Box and numerous family members of Cool McCool . Bob McFadden voiced the roles of Cool McCool, Harry McCool and Dr. Madcap. Carol Corbett took the voices of Friday and Greta Ghoul.
Opening credits
The theme song Cool McCool was penned by Ron Goodwin and Bernard Green , who also provided the individual episodes with music. The intro shows how Cool McCool's opponents try to kill him and fail, but he escapes the attacks more by luck than by skill; then he flies directly to his boss and says: "Danger is my business".
DVD and video publishing
In America the complete series was released on 3 DVDs. In Germany, some episodes of the series were released on four VHS cassettes. In July 2015, KSM GmbH released the complete series as a 3 DVD set.
