Copan FC is a Mexican football club from Pachuca de Soto , the capital of the state of Hidalgo .
history
The club was founded with the aim of discovering and promoting young talent with the aim of leading them into professional football . For this purpose, the club has signed a sponsorship agreement with the neighboring first division club CF Pachuca . Currently, the club's men's team only plays in the fifth-rate and purely amateur-based Cuarenta División , but aims to join the semi-professional league Tercera División .
Much more successful has been his women's soccer team , which reached the finals of the Mexican women's soccer championship in the Apertura 2014 , but was defeated there with an overall result of 2: 3 after extra time against the Centellas de Tepozotlán .
