Copeland (band)

Copeland is an indie rock band from Lakeland , Florida , formed in 2001 . The band broke up in 2010 and reunited in April 2014.

Career

Since the reunification, the group has consisted of singer Aaron Marsh , guitarists Bryan and Stephen Laurenson, and drummer Jonathan Bucklew.

The group released several EPs as well as five studio albums before their split. Her sixth album called Ixora was released in November 2014 and, like three albums before, was able to place in the national album charts .

Position on Christianity

It was often speculated that Copeland was a Christian rock band. Singer Aaron Marsh said that some (former) members of the band are or were devout Christians, but the band does not convey any Christian messages.

Sleeping-with-Sirens singer Kellin Quinn is a fan of the band. He named his daughter after the band. Aaron Marsh can also be heard in the band's song Let Love Bleed Red from the debut album With Ears to See and Eyes to Hear .
