Kellin Quinn
Kellin Quinn Bostwick (born April 24, 1986 in Medford , Oregon ) is an American rock musician . He is a clean singer , keyboardist and one of the songwriters for Sleeping with Sirens from Orlando , Florida .
Private
Quinn has been married since April 2013 and has a daughter named Copeland, who was born in May 2012. He is friends with Vic Fuentes from Pierce the Veil . On November 28, 2012, several newspapers reported that Quinn was killed in an accident. The first magazine reported that he was fatally injured in a jet ski accident off the Turks and Caicos Islands . A second magazine wrote that Quinn was killed in a car accident on Route 80 between Morristown and Roswell. On Twitter , he announced that he was alive and well.
In May 2013, the organization Friends Are By Your Side , which was founded to fulfill their dearest wish for seriously ill children, published an action for Marie Sowler. She suffered from leukemia and only had a few days to live. Her wish was to meet Kellin Quinn. Due to the fact that he was preparing with the band for a smaller European tour at the time, he was not able to visit them personally at the hospital. Instead, he offered to communicate with her and her sister via Skype .
Career
Before joining Sleeping with Sirens, Kellin Quinn was a musician with For All We Know , Closer to Closure , Our Name in City Lights and Screenplay . With For All We Know he recorded We're About to Change in 2007 . He also has his own line of clothing called Anthem Made . He is known for his singing, which is very reminiscent of Anthony Green of Circa Survive .

Kellin Quinn joined the band in 2009 shortly after forming Sleeping with Sirens. The actual singer, Brian Calzini , left this in the same year, so Quinn took over the post of lead singer. Together with Sleeping with Sirens he recorded four albums, a live album and an EP, all of which were released on the US label Rise Records except for the Madness released in 2015 and the live album released a year later .
He has also toured several times with his band through North America (especially the USA ), Europe (as support for A Skylit Drive ) and Southeast Asia . In March 2013, the group toured five major cities in Australia for the first time . This concert tour took place as part of the Soundwave Festival . In May, the band also headlined the UK , Germany , Belgium and the Netherlands for the first time . An extensive European tour follows in September to promote their third studio album.
In 2012, Quinn was named Singer of the Year by Alternative Press readers . Several fans suggested Kellin Quinn for a Shorty Award . He was in the Hottest Male category at the Kerrang! Awards nominated. The award ceremony took place on June 13, 2013. However, the award went to Ben Bruce from Asking Alexandria .
Guest musician
Kellin Quinn was often heard as a guest musician in other bands. He has already recorded guest vocals in Miles Away by Memphis May Fire (for the album Challenger ) and in King for a Day by Pierce the Veil (for Collide with the Sky ). Quinn was approached by Breathe Carolina front man David Schmitt for a collaboration, which Quinn accepted.

Controversy
On the evening of August 5, 2013, Kellin Quinn announced a special pre-sale package for the “The Feel This” tour, which gave fans the opportunity to take a signed photo and a short interview with him, a double-sided poster of the Band, as well as a book signing of the band. However, the retail price is $ 80.
