Brian Calzini
Brian Calzini (born October 25, 1985 in Ocala , Florida ) is an American musician . He is the founder of the bands Sleeping with Sirens and We Are Defiance , as well as a former singer with Paddock Park .
Career
Calzini's musical career began with the fun song I'll Swing My Fist , which he recorded with Tom Denney. He uploaded it to his MySpace profile and after more and more listeners rated the song positively, he founded Boston B as a solo project. He showed his work to a band from Ocala , which was previously completely unknown, and thus turned his one-man project into a band. Together they released the EP False Hope , still under the name Boston B, which was later to be changed to Paddock Park. At Paddock Park he worked as a songwriter and composer . He wrote all the lyrics and composed all the songs on the debut album A Hiding Place for Fake Friends . Since the rest of the musicians at Paddock Park had no idea how to tour tours, Calzini took care of that too. After months of touring, Calzini was kicked out of the band. Shortly afterwards she gave a concert in Plano / Texas . He watched this one because he wanted to see the band play without him. Shortly afterwards, the second singer decided to leave the band because he had had enough of touring and wanted to start a family. Together they left the band in Texas during their tour.
With Sleeping with Sirens Calzini released a couple of demo CDs, as he left the group before the production of the debut album With Ears To See And Eyes To Hear to concentrate on working with his band We Are Defiance . The name of the group, according to the singer, is a combination of the name of the play called Defiance and I Am Legend with Will Smith . He worked with the band and producer Tom Denney , a former musician of the band A Day to Remember, on the debut album called Trust in Few , produced by Tragic Hero Records and released on March 15, 2011. It was also published in Germany .
He has also played at concerts with A Day to Remember. Calzini and Denney have been friends since high school. We Are Defiance broke up in 2015.
Musical influences
Before Calzini started dealing with post-hardcore , he was an avid fan of hip-hop and nu metal . A Day to Remember is one of his musical influences , as he lived with the singer in an apartment for some time.
Private
Calzini currently lives in Ocala / Florida and is in a relationship with Brittany Clemons. In August 2014, Calzini became the father of a daughter.

Together with We are Defiance, ex-guitarist Tom Denney from A Day to Remember and the current singer of Sleeping with Sirens , Kellin Quinn, the song Airplanes by rapper BoB was covered. It has not yet appeared on any of the band's CDs and was only offered as a free download on Twitter for a short time . The cover can be found on the video platform YouTube .
