features

The species reaches a length of 33 millimeters. The top of the body is dark olive colored and spotted black or marbled. The lumbar region and thighs are spotted white on a black background. There is often an inconspicuous eye spot in the lumbar region. The throat and chest are mottled dark brown or brown. The underside of the limbs is spotted brown. The belly is whitish. The head is as long as it is wide. The forehead is blunt-pointed, protruding, truncated at an angle and as long as the eye. The canthus rostralis is sharp. The rein region slopes down vertically. The interorbital space is slightly wider than an upper eyelid. The eardrum is moderately recognizable and about half as wide as the diameter of the eye. The first finger is shorter than the second and ends with a small adhesive disc. The adhesive discs of the remaining fingers are large, wider than they are long, about twice as wide as the fingers and slightly larger than those of the toes. The subarticular cusps and metatarsal cusps are flat and indistinct. When the hind leg is placed forward to the body, the tibiotarsal joint extends to the eye or between the eye and the tip of the snout. There are flat warts and wavy skin folds on the top of the body. A less clear, conical hump is often found near the free edge of the eyelid. The underside is smooth or slightly granular on the belly. Males do not have a vocal sac .
