Alpine Cup
The Alpine Cup ( Italian Coppa delle Alpi ) was a football tournament initiated by the Italian Football Association . The competition was held from 1960 to 1987. From 1988 to 1994 an unofficial successor competition was held under the name Memorial Pier Cesare Baretti .
Coppa delle Alpi (1962–1987)
In the first two years the trophy was a competition for national teams. From 1962 clubs from Italy , Germany , Switzerland and France also played . From 1972 to 1987 only clubs from France and Switzerland took part.

Memorial Pier Cesare Baretti (1988–1994)
This competition was also called Torneo di Saint Vincent and was held in the Aosta Valley ( Italy ). The restrictions in the participating nations of the predecessor have been lifted. So held, for example in 1991 the Czech Republic participated in the competition.
