Cora "Lee" Liebig (born February 19, 1984 in Berlin ) is a German singer, composer, lyricist and presenter.

Life

After first stage experiences, u. a. at the Berlin Star Singers, in 2004 she was hired by guitarist and composer Alex Mann for a new emerging band (CorleeMad) as a singer. Here she quickly took on a formative role and increasingly brought her own texts and compositions to the stage.

Since the person of the singer turned out to be a decisive trademark of the band, it has not been marketed under the name CorleeMad since 2009.

While her own repertoire was initially rock music (mainstream and AOR , exclusively her own titles), over time she developed - inspired by a collaboration with Fools Garden and her participation in unplugged concerts - various acoustic programs with typical unplugged - or piano accompaniments. Cora Lee writes and sings exclusively in English.

She has won prizes for vocal performance several times. She has also presented in regional TV music magazines (Rockyou TV) and events.

After the first three music videos that appeared in 2006 (as a DVD supplement to the musician magazine Soundcheck ), the singer attracted attention in 2010 when she artistically dealt with the subject of sexual abuse of children with touching and shocking images with the music video for the title "Silent Scream". Your commitment to this topic led u. a. to the fact that she became an ambassador for the "Safe and Strong" foundation , which is committed to protecting children across Germany.

Since 2014 the singer has been working in a joint stage program with choreographers and dancers from the renowned Flying Steps Academy in Berlin. Her music is now produced by Alex Mann and Thommy Krawallo (including Hans-Eckardt Wenzel , Pankow , Universal Baby, Dota )
