Cora Lesch

Cora Lesch (* 26. January 1969 ) is a German politician of the CDU . It was 2019 when Nachrückerin briefly a member of the Saxon Parliament in its 6th legislature.

Life

After attending a polytechnic high school, Lesch trained as a cook from 1985 to 1989. Due to the change in business, an apprenticeship as a construction carpenter followed from 1990 to 1992. Lesch was active in this profession until 2000. Then Lesch completed her third professional training, she completed a commercial training from 2000 to 2003. In this profession Lesch worked as a clerk for the housing industry until 2004.

Member of the CDU since 2000, Lesch moved to the Saxon state parliament as the winner of the electoral district of Leipziger Land 2 after the election of party friend Christian Steinbach as an employee in its parliamentary office. Lesch and Steinbach belonged to the same CDU district association. After the local CDU district chairwoman Katharina Landgraf moved into the Bundestag as electoral district winner of the Bundestag electoral district Leipzig-Land in the 2005 federal elections, Lesch moved to the Landgraf parliamentary office, where she still works today. Since 2009 Lesch has also been CDU city councilor in the city council of Borna , and since 2014 also district councilor for the CDU in the Leipzig district . She did not run again for the 2019 city council election. She was not re-elected to the district assembly. She was elected to the local council of Wyhratal. He unanimously elected Lesch as head of town on August 22, 2019.
