The constituency of Leipzig Land 2 (constituency 24) is a state constituency in Saxony .

It includes the cities of Böhlen , Groitzsch , Markkleeberg , Markranstädt , Pegau and Zwenkau as well as the municipality of Elstertrebnitz and thus part of the district of Leipzig . In the last state election (in 2019), 58,791 residents were eligible to vote.

For the 1994 to 2009 elections, the constituency was named " Leipziger Land 2" and had constituency number 24. For the 2014 state election, the name was adapted to the districts that were changed in the 2008 district reform . The constituency kept its number. The layout of the constituency was also slightly changed: Rötha and Espenhain were transferred to the Leipzig Land 1 constituency and the Großpösna community to the Leipzig Land 3 constituency .
