The constituency of Erzgebirge 3 (constituency 15) is a state electoral district in Saxony . It includes the large district town of Schwarzenberg / Erzgeb. , the cities of Grünhain-Beierfeld , Johanngeorgenstadt , Lauter / Sa. , Lößnitz and the communities of Bernsbach , Breitenbrunn / Erzgeb. , Raschau-Markersbach in the Erzgebirgskreis . For the state elections in 1994 and 1999, the constituency was called Wahlkreis Westerzgebirge 2 , for the state elections in 2004 and 2009 it was then namedAue-Schwarzenberg constituency 2 . 57,841 residents were entitled to vote in the last state election.

Constituency area

The constituency area around the cities of Johanngeorgenstadt, Lauter, Lößnitz and Schwarzenberg has remained largely unchanged since 1994. The cities of Zwönitz and Elterlein were added to the 2014 state elections. The precursors of the Westerzgebirge 2 constituency were the entire Schwarzenberg constituency and parts of the Aue I constituency .
