The constituency Sächsische Schweiz-Osterzgebirge 2 (constituency 49) is an electoral district in Saxony .

It includes the cities of Altenberg , Dippoldiswalde , Glashütte and Rabenau as well as the communities of Bannewitz , Hartmannsdorf-Reichenau , Hermsdorf / Erzgeb. , Klingenberg and Kreischa and thus part of the Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains district . In the last state election (in 2019), 46,908 residents were eligible to vote.

For the 2004 and 2009 elections, the constituency was named " Weißeritzkreis 2" and had the constituency number 42. For the 2014 state election, the name was adapted to the districts changed in the 2008 district reform and a new number was given.
