The constituency of Dresden 5 (constituency 45) is an electoral district in Saxony .

It is one of seven Dresden state electoral districts and comprises the statistical districts of Innere Altstadt , Seevorstadt-Ost / Großer Garten , Johannstadt -Nord und -Süd in the center of Dresden from the district of Altstadt , from the district of Neustadt the statistical districts of Innere Neustadt and Leipziger Vorstadt , from the district of Blasewitz the statistical district of Striesen-Süd and, from the district of Prohlis, the statistical district of Strehlen . In the last state election (in 2019), 62,196 residents were eligible to vote.

The constituency was formed in this form for the 2014 state elections - in terms of area, it corresponds in part to the previous constituency of Dresden 3 (constituency 45) .
