The constituency of Meissen 1 (constituency 37) is a state electoral district in Saxony . It includes the cities of Lommatzsch , Riesa and Strehla as well as the municipalities of Diera-Zehren , Hirschstein , Käbschützal , Stauchitz and Zeithain and thus the northwestern part of the district of Meißen and has existed in this form since 2014. In the last state election (in 2019) there were 46,488 Residents entitled to vote. The forerunner of the constituency of Meißen 1 was the constituency of Riesa-Großenhain 1 between 1994 and 2009. This was enlarged during the restructuring of the state constituencies for the state election in 2014 by taking over three municipalities from the constituency of Meißen 1 , which was valid in 2009 , and was also given the name of constituency Meißen 1. The turnout was 2019 at 62.6% (29,109 voters).
