Election 2014

For the Saxon state elections on August 31, 2014, there were changes in the constituencies. Since then, the constituency of Leipzig 2 has had constituency number 28. It is one of seven Leipzig state electoral districts and comprises (from west to east) the eight districts of Connewitz , Südvorstadt , Marienbrunn , Lößnig , Dölitz-Dosen , Probstheida , Meusdorf and Liebertwolkwitz .

Election 2009

The constituency of Leipzig 2 , in 2009 constituency 26, was a state electoral district in Saxony . It is one of the seven Leipzig state electoral districts and includes the entire south-west district with the districts Schleußig , Plagwitz , Kleinzschocher , Großzschocher , Knautkleeberg - Knauthain and Hartmannsdorf - Knautnaundorf , from the Alt-West district the districts Altlindenau , Leutzsch , Lindenau and Neulindenwestau as well as the north city district the district of Wahren . In the last state election (in 2009), 69,402 residents were entitled to vote.
