The constituency of Leipzig Land 4 (constituency 26) is a state electoral district in Saxony .
It includes the cities of Brandis , Trebsen / Mulde and Wurzen as well as the communities Bennewitz , Borsdorf , Lossatal , Machern and Thallwitz and thus part of the district of Leipzig . In the last state election (in 2019), 48,920 residents were eligible to vote.
For the 1994 to 2009 elections, the constituency was named " Muldental 1" and had constituency number 34. For the 2014 state election, the name was adapted to the districts changed in the 2008 district reform and a new number was given. The cut was also adapted to the new district boundaries. The municipality of Mockrehna was transferred to the constituency of Nordsachsen 2 . The town of Dahlen and the area of the former town of Schildau (now part of Belgern-Schildau ) became the constituency of North Saxony 3 . For this, the city of Trebsen / Mulde was taken over by the constituency Muldental 2 .
