Coram Lethe is an Italian technical death metal band from Certaldo that was founded in 1999.
history
The band was formed in 1999. In 2000 the band released the debut album Reminiscence in their own production. In 2004 the same line-up produced the album The Gates of Oblivion with Rising Realm / Crash Music . In 2007 singer Mirco Borghini left the band and was replaced by singer Erica Puddu. In 2009 the band recorded the album … A Splending Chaos with this new line-up, which was released on Punishment 18 Records that same year . In 2010, Claudio “Clode” Passeri (Ex- Gory Blister ) was another new singer in the band. Performances all over Italy followed. The band played at various festivals such as the Total Metal Festival , the S-Hammer Festival and the Gods of Metal . Coram Lethe played with bands like Dark Funeral , Rage , Dismember , Entombed , Deicide and Cynic . The band then worked on material for a new album due out in 2011.
style
The band plays melodic, complex, technically demanding death metal. The band's music is described as a mixture of At the Gates , Death and Morbid Angel . The tempo of the songs is variable and there is occasional use of jazzy passages.
