Cordshagen is a village in northern Mecklenburg. It is part of the municipality of Blankenhagen ( Rostock district ). The place is about two kilometers southwest of the main town in a wooded area.
history
The place was created as a clearing settlement . It got its name from the locator Cordes, who was responsible for the clearing . After there had been deliberations about the dissolution of the independent municipality since the mid-1930s, it was incorporated into Mandelshagen on July 1, 1950. With its dissolution, the place came to Blankenhagen on January 1, 2012.
