Corinna Boccacini (born March 10, 1985 in Udine ) is an Italian snowboarder . It starts in the disciplines of parallel giant slalom and parallel slalom .

Corinna Boccacini competed in the parallel giant slalom at the 2006 Olympic Games in Turin . There were discrepancies in her nomination, which was initially withdrawn after Isabella Dal Balcon sued for one of four starting places in front of the CAS . Boccacini's father then threatened to file a lawsuit with the CAS. As a result, the bronze medalist of the 2002 Olympic Games , Lidia Trettel , was removed from the team by CONI . Boccacini finally reached 19th place in the parallel giant slalom, Isabella Dal Balcon was 13th, Marion Posch 15th and Carmen Ranigler 26th.

Boccacini made her World Cup debut in Plan de Corones in January 2001 with 61st place in the parallel giant slalom. She has been competing in the FIS World Cup regularly since 2004 and was able to achieve fourth place in the 2006/2007 season in Sungwoo ( Korea ) as the best place . A fifth place from the 2007/2008 season as well as two eighth and a tenth place are her top ten placements in parallel giant slaloms. A ninth place in the parallel slalom at the season opener 2008/2009 in Landgraaf meant the first place in the top ten in this discipline.

In 2005 Boccacini was able to secure the title in the parallel giant slalom at the Junior World Championships in front of the two Germans Amelie Kober and Selina Jörg . At World Championships of seniors took part once, in 2007 it was 22 in the parallel slalom and 26th in parallel giant slalom.

At the 2014 Olympic Games, she was fourth in the parallel slalom.

Boccacini is single and lives in her native Udine.
