The Corinthian Bay is a bay on the north coast of the island Heard . It is located between Rogers Head and Saddle Point .
The name of the bay goes back to American seal hunters who have been visiting Heard Island since 1855. Captain Erasmus Darwin Rogers (1817-1906) probably named the bay after his ship Corinthian , with which he first called the island in March 1855.
