Cornel Damian
Cornel Damian (born May 8, 1960 in Jibou , then in the Regiunea Cluj ) is a Romanian auxiliary bishop in Bucharest .
Life
Cornel Damian was ordained a priest on June 22, 1986 in Bucharest . From 1987 to 1998 he was professor of moral theology in Bucharest.
In 2003 he was appointed titular bishop of Iziriana by Pope John Paul II and appointed auxiliary bishop in the Archdiocese of Bucharest . The episcopal ordination on 8 December 2003 donated him Archbishop Ioan Robu (principal consecrator) and Archbishop Jean-Claude Périsset and Bishop Petru Gherghel .
