Cornelia Conrad

Cornelia Conrad (* 1956 in Kiel ) is a Schleswig-Holstein politician ( FDP ). She is a member of the district council in the Rendsburg-Eckernförde district and was a member of the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament from 2009 to 2012 .

education and profession

After graduating from high school, Cornelia Conrad studied German , geography and philosophy at the Christian Albrechts University in Kiel from 1975 to 1979 and passed her second state examination for teaching at secondary schools in 1981 . From 1981 to 1985 she was a secondary school teacher in the school service of the state of Schleswig-Holstein, from 1985 to 2001 pedagogical director of a private school and since 2001 a secondary school teacher in the school service of the state of Schleswig-Holstein.

Cornelia Conrad is married and has two children.

politics

Cornelia Conrad has been a member of the FDP since 2001 and was deputy district chairwoman in the Rendsburg-Eckernförde district from 2003 to 2007. From 2003 to 2008 she was a deputy civic member of the committee for school, sport, culture and education as well as a member of the building and planning committee of the Molfsee community. Between 2005 and 2007 she was also deputy state chairwoman of the Liberal Women of Schleswig-Holstein, and has been an assessor on the board since 2012. Since 2007 she has been a member of the State Committee on Education. Cornelia Conrad has chaired the committee for social and cultural affairs since 2008, is a member of the main committee of the Molfsee Office and holds the office of district councilor. Since 2009 she has been chairwoman of the accounting and audit committee of the Molfsee office and since 2010 a member of the supervisory board of the Rendsburg-Eckernförde waste management company. Since 2011 she has been chairwoman of the local association of the FDP Molfsee.

In 2009 she was elected to the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament via the state list and was the spokesperson for education policy for the FDP parliamentary group.
