Cornelius Boersch (born April 11, 1968 in Hanover ) is a German entrepreneur and business angel .

Life

Boersch studied business administration at the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel as well as at the Paris Business School and the University of Colorado . He has been an entrepreneur in Germany since 1992. During his studies, he founded his first company, which later developed into the smart card broker and RFID manufacturer ACG AG, which was listed on the now closed Neuer Markt ( NEMAX 50) and which has belonged to the Assa Abloy Group since 2003 . 1998 doctorate Boersch about credit unions and venture capital - with an emphasis on cooperative promotional mandate at the University of Essen .

After retiring from the operational business of ACG AG, he worked as an investment manager in the venture capital area . Boersch donated around 160,000 euros to the FDP and accompanied Guido Westerwelle on trips abroad ( Estonia , Japan and the People's Republic of China ).
