The Cornwall Glacier is a glacier in the East Antarctic Coatsland . It flows south from Crossover Pass in the Shackleton Range to merge with Recovery Glacier east of Ram Bow Bluff .
It was first mapped in 1957 by participants in the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition (1955-1958) led by British polar explorer Vivian Fuchs . It is named after the British General James Marshall-Cornwall (1887–1985), member of the management committee of this research trip . There is a risk of confusion with the glacier of the same name in the Ross Dependency .
