from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Corpus Fontium Historiae Byzantinae (CFHB) is an international joint project to develop, edit and comment on the historical sources of Byzantine history between the 4th and 15th centuries. The aim of these publications is to make the works of historical authors accessible to modern research in a processed form. The corpus , originally suggested by Berthold Rubin , has appeared since 1967 under the overall direction of the “ Association Internationale des Études Byzantines ” (AIEB) or its respective national branches.
