After his resignation after the end of the season, when Alberto Cavasin replaced him, he took over the fate of the second division relegated ASD Castel di Sangro in 1999 . This was followed by engagements with the third division clubs AC Pisa , Benevento Calcio and US Grosseto , before he returned to AC Perugia Calcio in 2006. In 2007 he took over the coaching position at US Pistoiese , with whom he only managed to stay in the relegation games against AC Sangiovannese in 1927 and was then replaced by Roberto Miggiano .
