Coryphantha pseudoradians is a species of plant in the genus Coryphantha from the cactus family(Cactaceae). The specific epithet pseudoradians is derived from the Greek word pseudo for 'wrong' and refers to the similarity with Coryphantha radians .

description

Coryphantha pseudoradians grows individually or forms groups. The spherical to slightly obovate, glaucous- gray-green shoots reach a diameter of 8 to 10 centimeters. The warts, which are up to 10 millimeters long and slightly spaced from one another, are obovate and rhomboid at their base. The initially woolly axillae are later bare. Central spines are usually not developed. There are rarely one or two. They then resemble the radial spines. The 13 to 15 yellowish to brownish radial spines are slender, slightly bent back and have lengths of up to 1 centimeter. Some of them are radiating, few are directed upwards.

The yellow flowers reach lengths of up to 3 centimeters and diameters of up to 7 centimeters. Nothing is known about the fruit .

Distribution and systematics

Coryphantha pseudoradians is common in the Mexican state of Oaxaca .

The first description by Helia Bravo Hollis was published in 1954. Reto F. Dicht and Adrian D. Lüthy treated Coryphantha pseudoradians 2001 as a synonym of Coryphantha pallida .

Nomenclatory synonyms are Coryphantha radians var. Pseudoradians (Bravo) Bravo (1982) and Coryphantha pallida subsp. pseudoradians (Bravo) U.Guzmán & Vázq.-Ben. (2003).
