Cosmix

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Cosmix was a German Euro Dance - music project of music producer Manfred Wood, Juergen Blomke and Michael Buchner.

history

In the course of the general Eurodance wave in Germany in the mid-1990s and the success of Sandmann's Dummies with dance remixes from the children's series Our Sandman , the music project Cosmix was launched and sampled songs and voices from the German version of Sesame Street . Members were Manfred Holz, Jürgen Blomke and Michael Buchner, who, among other things, produced songs together for George McCrae from the late 1980s . The first single Quietsche-Entchen , based on the original English text by Jeff Moss and the German translation by Volker Ludwig , reached the top 20 of the German single charts . The follow -up single Kekse (delicious happa-happa) also made it into the charts. The studio album released on October 23, 1995 missed the charts, as did the third single release. Thereafter, there were no further publications under the name Cosmix .
