The Cotton Toppen is a 2,170 m high mountain in the Heimefrontfjella the East Antarctic Queen Maud Lands . It rises up in Tottanfjella .
Scientists at the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1967 after the geodesist John Philip Douglas Cotton (* 1942) from the British Antarctic Survey , who worked at Halley Station in the Antarctic winters of 1964 and 1965 .
