The Covert Glacier is a glacier in East Antarctica, Victoria Land . In the northeastern part of the Royal Society Range, it flows between Pearsall Ridge and Stoner Peak to the Blue Glacier , which it reaches in the vicinity of the Granite Knolls .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1992 after the US cartographer Kathy L. Covert of the United States Geological Survey , head of a two-person team for seismological investigations and satellite surveys at the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station in the Antarctic winter of 1982, and head geodesist at the Survey of Minna Bluff , Mount Discovery , White Island and Beaufort Island in a 1986-1987 campaign.
