The Cowie Dome is a domed mountain in Marie Byrd Land, West Antarctica . In the Queen Maud Mountains, it rises 3 km west of Lee Peak on the east side of the Bartlett Glacier .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it using its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1964. The New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it after George Donald Cowie, who headed the 1969-1970 campaign as part of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition , whose participants visited the area around this mountain.
