Craig P. Bauer

Craig Paul Bauer (* around 1975) is an American cryptologist and mathematician .

Life

Bauer received his doctorate in 1999 at the North Carolina State University with his work Triangular monoid for Ph.D. ( Doctor ). He is a professor of mathematics at York College of Pennsylvania , a private educational institution in the state of Pennsylvania .

Since January 2007 he has been editor-in-chief of Cryptologia , an English-language specialist journal on the subject of cryptology . He is the author of Secret History - The Story of Cryptology , a book on the history of cryptology published in March 2013 , and Unsolved! History's Greatest Ciphers , a book on unsolved historical cryptograms due in 2017.
