Craig Parry (born January 12, 1966 in Sunshine, Victoria ) is an Australian professional golfer on the North American PGA Tour and, with 23 tournament successes worldwide, is one of the best-known in his country.

Parry became a professional golfer in 1986 and celebrated his first victory in 1987 at the New South Wales Open , followed by the Canadian TPC that same year. In 1992 he won three of Australia's four main tournaments, the Australian PGA Championship , again the New South Wales Open and the Australian Masters - a tournament that he finished victoriously three times (1992, 1994 and 1996). So far, Parry has won six titles on the European Tour , most recently the Heineken Classic in 2005 , an event that had previously been dominated three times by the exceptional South African golfer Ernie Els .

Parry played the European Tour regularly from 1988 to 1991, placing third in 1989 and fifth in the money list in 1991. Since 1992 he has been mainly on the North American PGA TOUR , where he has since recorded two victories. But Parry still competes around the globe.

He was a member of the international team in the Presidents Cup in 1994, 1996 and 1998 and represented his country five times in the Dunhill Cup and once in the WGC World Cup .

Parry is married with three children and is resident in Sydney and Orlando , Florida . Because of his very strong and pronounced forearms, he is also called "Mr. Popeye" by his golf colleagues.
