The Crater Hill (English for crater hill ) is a 300 m high volcanic crater on the Hut Point Peninsula in the southwest of the Antarctic Ross Island . It rises 1.5 km north of Observation Hill .
It was discovered and named descriptively by participants in the Discovery Expedition (1901-1904) under the direction of the British polar explorer Robert Falcon Scott .
