Crawford Fairbrother
Crawford Fairbrother ( Crawford William Fairbrother ; born December 1, 1936 in Paisley , † November 23, 1986 ibid) was a British high jumper .
In 1958 he finished seventh for Scotland at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Cardiff . At the European Athletics Championships in Stockholm he came in tenth place. In 1960 he was eliminated from qualifying at the Olympic Games in Rome .
In 1962 he finished 13th at the European Championships in Belgrade and came eighth at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Perth .
At the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Kingston in 1966 , he finished fourth, at the British Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh in 1970 , he failed in the preliminary round.
In 1959, 1961 and 1964 he was English champion, 1963 and 1966 English indoor champion. From 1957 to 1969 he was Scottish Champion thirteen times in a row. He set his personal best of 2.07 m in 1964.
