Cricklewood Island is a small island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . In the group of Aitcho Islands in the English Strait , it lies north of Emeline Island and southwest of Jorge Island . Together with Bath Island and Taunton Island , it forms the group of the Riksa Islands .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2013. It is named after the London borough of Cricklewood , where the main department of the United Kingdom Hydrographic Office was located until 1968 .
