Cristina Alves da Silva is a politician from East Timor . She is a member of FRETILIN .

Silva ran in the 2001 elections at number 45 on the FRETILIN list for the constituent assembly, but initially did not win a seat. Only after the assembly became the national parliament of East Timor on May 20, 2002, when the assembly became the national parliament of East Timor , she moved for an outgoing one FRETILIN MPs after. Here she was a member of the commission for the eradication of poverty, rural development and regional approximation. In 2007 Silva fell out of parliament after the new elections.

In 2017 she appointed President Francisco Guterres to the East Timor Security Council .
