Cristina Grigoraș

Cristina Grigoraș (born February 11, 1966 in Satu Mare ) is a former Romanian artistic gymnast .

She took part in the 1980 Olympic Games and won the silver medal with the Romanian team in Moscow. At the World Cup final in the same year, Grigoraș was third in the horse jump.

In 1981 she won four medals at the European Championships . She became European champion in jumping and won silver in the all-around and on the uneven bars and bronze on the floor. At the World Championships in the same year Grigoraş just missed the medal ranks. In the all-around competition and on the uneven bars, she was fifth and fourth with the team.

In 1982 Grigoraş did not take part in any international competitions and in 1983 it only started in the country comparisons with the Federal Republic and Great Britain.

At the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, Grigoraș was again part of the Romanian regular formation and won the gold medal with the team with Lavinia Agache , Laura Cutina , Simona Păuca , Mihaela Stănuleț and Ecaterina Szabó .
