The Cromlech of Tojal ( Portuguese Cromeleque de Tojal - also called Recinto Megalítico do Tojal) belongs to the megaliths in the Évora district and is located south of Montemor-o-Novo in the Évora district in Portugal .

In an area characterized by megaliths , the Tojal Cromlech stands out with 17 stones, a nearby menhir and six antas of different types and degrees of preservation.

The Tojal Cromlech is an open stone circle made of 17 granite stones . Most have fallen over but are close to their original positions. It has not yet been classified, but like other monuments of the same type in the region ( Almendres ) it can be classified chronologically as part of the Chalolitism .

The horseshoe-shaped cromlech is on a steep slope and faces east. A larger menhir in the group, in which five triangles arranged in the shape of a cross are cut, divides the two halves. The cromlech is 18 meters long and 16 meters wide.

About 450 m away is the menhir of Tojal and 140 m north of the Anta 1 of Quinta do Gato.
