Cronheim Forest

The Cronheimer Wald is a contiguous forest area north of the eponymous place Cronheim , a district of Gunzenhausen in the central Franconian district of Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen . The Cronheimer forest was 100.91 hectares large community free area , which was incorporated into the then municipality Cronheim on 1 January 1967th

It is located in the far west of the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district. The border to the district of Ansbach is partly nestled around the forest, partly it also runs through the forest. Neighboring towns are Cronheim in the south, Kleinlellenfeld in the west , Unterhambach in the northeast and Filchenhard in the southeast . It is bordered to the east, the forest corridor Holler at, in the southwest, the plantation forest community forest . In the south the forest is traversed by the Kröttenbach, which rises in the forest area , and in the north by the Heggraben, which rises in the forest area .

The place is crossed by some hallways. District road WUG 25 passes to the south and west .
