The CROSSTOCK TEAMCROSS is a cross running event that takes place annually in Rostock .

Unlike many other running events in Germany, this event is aimed specifically at performance-oriented runners and triathletes. As a team competition with a relay character, the run has a unique selling point, not only compared to all cross competitions, but also compared to almost all running events in Germany.

There is always a team of three, at least one female starter must belong to the team. The route is 600 meters long and must be lapped 30 times by each team. The event was held for the first time on October 28, 2006. Since 2010 there has also been a “everyone's run”, in which recreational and popular runners can start and only have to cover half the distance. In addition to the “Lauf der Ase” (30 rounds) and the “Everyman's Run” (15 rounds) there are ratings for the best youth team (30 rounds) and for the fastest student team (15 rounds).

The running track is not far from the Rostock athletics stadium. The course record, set by the Berlin team "The Untouchables I", consisting of Tim Stegemann, Caterina Granz and Sebastian Schenk, stands at 50:06 minutes. The participation record, set in 2013, is 62 teams (186 participants).

Well-known starters from the German running and triathlon scene took part in the CROSSTOCK, including Steffen Uliczka (3000 meters obstacle), Sören Ludolph (800 meters, both 2012 Olympic participants) and Carsten Schlangen (second in the European Championship 1,500 meters 2011, Olympic participant 2012) also Ulrike Maisch (European marathon champion 2006), Christiane Pilz (Olympic participant in the triathlon 2008), Sebastian Rank (4th place World Cup Triathlon Hamburg 2011), Elina (1,500 meters sixth U23 European Championship 2011) and Diana Sujew (1,500 meter sixth EM 2012) and Jana Sussmann (second U23 EM over 3,000 meter obstacle 2011).

The event has been organized since its inception by Matthias Weippert, Jan Pretzel, Mathias Schlegel, Gero Schreiber and Christoph Thürkow.
