Sören Ludolph (born February 25, 1988 in Lüneburg ) is a German middle-distance runner who specializes in the 800-meter run .

Life

Sören Ludolph celebrated his first successes in 2005 when he became German B youth champion over 800 meters. After that there were no early successes, only in 2009 he drew attention again when he won the title at the German Junior Championships, a short time later he also came seventh at the U23 European Championships and German runner-up over 800 meters at the German Championships in Ulm.

A year later, Sören Ludolph celebrated his greatest sporting success to date by winning the title at the 2010 German Championships over 800 meters in Braunschweig. He also defended his junior title. He was able to defend the championship title in 2011 and 2012 . He was also German indoor champion in 2011 and 2012.

Ludolph reached the semi-finals at the European Championships in Helsinki in 2012 and in Amsterdam in 2016 and took part in the 2012 Olympic Games in London, where he was eliminated in the preliminary stages.

Sören Ludolph started for LG Nordheide until 2007, and since then for LG Braunschweig . In 2012 he completed his training as a commissioner.
