action
After the children left the house, Mike and Martina Moore lived together again in their house. When the economic situation worsened, their two daughters Stella and Shea move back home. To make matters worse, Mike's father and his wife come by much more often than necessary now that their grandchildren are here.
characters
Mike Moore ( Patrick Warburton ) is the father of the family. He would like to be alone with his wife more often, but this is hardly possible because of the children in the house.
Martina Moore ( Carrie Preston ) is the mother of the family.
Shea Moore ( Miranda Cosgrove ) is the younger daughter of the family. Always intelligent, she went to college and did a PhD in astrophysics. After graduating, she was looking for a job and therefore moved back to her parents' house.
Stella Moore ( Mia Serafino ) is the older daughter of Mike and Martina. Unlike her sister Shea, she likes to go out and has many friends. She would like to become an actress, but her career is not really getting off to a good start.
Bob Moore ( Stacy Keach ) is the father of Mike. He owns a restaurant where the family eats often.
Alice Moore ( Carlease Burke ) is Bob's new wife, but not Mike's mother. She has another son.
Ethan ( Clifford McGhee ) is the son of Alice, Bob's foster son and Mike's younger step-brother, whom he envies for his father's attention.
