Curdin Orlik

Curdin Orlik (born February 5, 1993 ) is a Swiss wrestler .

Career as a wrestler

Orlik had won 35 wreaths and 5 wreath festival victories by 2019. In May 2019, the wrestling newspaper closing course voted him “wrestler of the week”. Orlik finished 24th in the official annual points list of the Swiss Federal Wrestling Association . Curdin Orlik is 187 cm tall and weighs 115 kg.

After reports about right-wing extremist connections of the managing director of his sponsor, the mattress manufacturer Roviva , had been reported in 2019 , Orlik announced that it would no longer extend the advertising partnership with Roviva.

biography

Curdin Orlik is a brother of the Schwinger Armon Orlik and grew up in Landquart . Today he lives in Rubigen . He is an agronomist by profession . He is the father of a son (born 2016). In March 2020, he became the first active Swiss top athlete to publicly acknowledge his homosexuality.
